About Me

Artist

Priyanka Sharma is an accomplished Indian artist renowned for her captivating mixed media artworks that seamlessly blend semi-abstract and realist styles. Her artistic journey began in childhood, where she found inspiration within the pages of her sketchbook, experimenting with crayons, colour pencils, and watercolours. She completed her Master’s in Fine Arts to deepen that path — and painting became her true calling.

Her semi-abstract / realist approach blends the tangible and the intangible, inviting viewers into realms of endless possibility. She devotes significant time to refining her style and experimenting with techniques and mediums. Beyond the studio, she draws inspiration from women and the beauty of nature, often taking leisurely walks to rejuvenate her creative spirit.

Statement

Mohini: The Desire

The allure of a woman lies not in a facial mole, but in the depths of her soul. The creation Mohini: The Desire encapsulates beauty, illusion, and longing. Hidden treasures, imperceptible to the eye, are discovered by the heart. Every woman harbours the desire to become a Mohini — a captivating enchantress, both disciplined and intelligent.

Mohini, the epitome of beauty; Maya, a woman’s irresistible allure; Trishna, the yearning to embody Mohini; and Rati, the delight — are artistic interpretations of perfect femininity. The designs also speak to the goddess, as women are respected as a shadow of the divine. True beauty is not facial charm alone — it is reflected by the soul, and in creativeness.
